Our firm typically requires a 10-hour retainer be paid up front. An example of how the sliding scale table works is:
A family of 3 that earns $27,800 a year would pay $65 per hour which would be a $650 retainer.

Montana Legal Services Association (MLSA) is a law firm that provides low income people legal information, advice, and other services free of charge. They focus on civil litigation such as consumer and foreclosure law, public benefits, housing law, low income taxpayer clinics, Indian law, and domestic violence.
Office of the State Public Defender
OPD provides low income people legal assistance in criminal and limited civil matters.
